God will take care of it

Although the future is not known to us,
it is known to God and only to God.

He holds it in his hands.
You don't need to worry about it; it will come.
God will take care of it.
All we can see and feel is the present.
All we can remember and honor is the past.

It is enough, my children. Amen.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God!

how great is the sum of them!

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand:

Psa 139:17 & 18

Still Waters

A Psalm of David.

The LORD is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:

he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:

for thou art with me;

thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

thou anointest my head with oil;

my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Psalms 23

Music of the spheres

We all seek happiness so eagerly,
That in the pursuit we often lose that joyous sense of existence,

and those quiet daily pleasures,
the values of which our pride alone prevents us from acknowledging.

It has been said with some meaning,
that if men would but rest in silence,
they might always hear
the music of the spheres.

Arthur Helps

May we all seek ways to rest in silence

so that we may hear the music of the spheres.
