This blog was started in 2008. It has been about life shared with my dear husband and best friend.
He went to be with Jesus 9 Dec. 2012, and my life changed. I miss my husband daily, but God is my strength, and He is with me through each and every day.
Hubby & I will be reunited again one day and what a reunion that will be.
I enjoy gardening, needleworking, reading and music.
Every day is a learning experience.
Ohhh, would ya look at what this Ozark Farm Chick would'a missed if I hadn't popped in with a "howdy"!
What inspiring words framed by that beautiful picture. 'Rays' of hope baby!
I'm retired Special Ed. We always took our students on a day trip to a small local lake. It was a nasty drizzly spring day and I was out in a paddle~boat with a Downs Syndrome boy.
Jesse looks up at the sky and says, "isn't is a beautifully sun~shinny day." I look at him and say not Jess the sun is not shinning. With a sparkle of his big brown eyes and a gleam on his face he replied, " Why yes, yes it is...it's shinin' behind the clouds." Outta the mouths of babes!
From the happy hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa, ya'll have a blessed sunshiny day!!! :o)
thank you for your visit. I am glad it lead me to this lovely picture and oh how my heart aches for the world to realize the work has been done, the gift of faith is in their grasp and they leave it to gather dust on the shelf. To miss the companionship of the Master in this life is to live in poverty, to miss being in His presence in eternity is beyond words. And you ask people, but what about when you die? The outcome seems like a lotto ticket to them and life is the ticket...but they have not even investigated the prize.

Oh, it's so true! He really
did pluck me out of a sea
of hopelessness and set my
feet upon the Rock Of Ages!
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings~
