Life can be ...

... overwhelming at times.

The news these days is nothing but negative. There are things that we need to think about to survive each day.

Sometimes it is hard to put one foot in front of the other, or to stay in a positive mindset.

But, there is help and hope.

Walking out into my gardens, I see things that make me gasp in delight, or say ooohhh, aaahhh. I am reminded of God and thank Him for His wonderful creation, for the Love and Light He sheds on us each and every day. We don't know what each day will bring us, good or bad, or in between, but we can know that He is with us every step of the way. He is our strength when we are weak, He lifts us up when we fall, and with Him we can fly like the eagles.

May we all feel God's loving presence surrounding us as we go about our daily lives.

Have a great weekend

I love how you put all this in perspective. It is amazing how just a short trip outside can reveal God's simple beauty in the details! It's a reminder that every little detail in our lives is so important to him.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt words on my blog! I decided to become a follower of yours and thank you for the opportunity for me to get to know you better.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

Dear Flowerlady

Thankyou so much for your sweet, precious comments! I came to see your site and was immediately calmed by the music, the flowers.. OH, how I miss my garden escapades. One day, though, I will return to my first love.. One day soon...

Good morning everyone and thank you for visiting and your kind comments.

These days it's all I can do to go outside for a little while because of the heat and humidity.

Inside or outside, God is with me at all times.

Mrs.E ~ Nature is a glimpse of God's wonderfulness.

Chris ~ Thank you.

Autumn Belle ~ Love your name by the way. Yes, the beauty of nature brings us much joy.

Kat ~ If only we would realize just how important each of us is to Him, we would rest more in His tender care. ~ I do hope you are feeling much better with each new day.

Have a great week folks and be thankful for each day.

Hello FlowerLady -- It was a pleasure to have you over at Getting Down With Jesus this week.

You know -- I had the same thoughts today in my own garden, among the coneflowers and the Russian sage, the roses and the lamb's ear. God is so creative. His landscape is a masterpiece ...

Blessings. So glad to "meet" you here.

I have the same reactions in my garden as you do in yours, I ooh and ahhh and thank God for the glory, and for the opportunity to garden.
I have a statue in my garden, placed under a pink multiflora rose bush, of Mary, mother of Jesus, which also reminds me to stop and pray.
